The new Mantra interface design offered a chance to move the MagiNet Sonata system in a new direction. The Mantra group will be using widescreen LCD televisions in all MagiNet equipped rooms, which requires the size and position of items on the screen to be changed from the old 4:3 screen design.

Each hotel or resort in the Mantra group has its own signature texture image, which is used on the hotel website and printed marketing materials. For the new movie system, this texture becomes the background for each hotel's menu screens.

These new movie systems are currently being rolled out to hotels around Australia, with more yet to come.
